- Personal experiences with the name Micah
I've found Micah to be a unique, strong name. I'm not a Michael or a Mike - I'm a Micah. Sure, some folks trip over it; I've heard a few "Me-cah" mispronunciations over the years. But, I recommend my name for those who want their child to forge their own path, think independently, and be rooted with a name that provides moral guidance.
I am a big fan of Micah. As far as male Biblical names ending in -ah, I much prefer it to the ever popular Noah and Jonah. Maybe because it sounds more traditional, since it's similar to Michael.
