Our second son is Quintin. We liked Quinn but that sounded to nicknamey for me so I suggested we name him Quintin and call him Quinn. However, he is just Quintin to us, the nickname Quinn hasn't really caught on. I still like that he will be able to go by Quinn when he is older if he wants to. His big brother is Zavier.
My brother is Quintin.I named him Quintin because it starts with a alphabet "Q". People rarely use "Q" names. I also use to call him Quin. And my name is Sidney.
The name Quintin can be used for a girl as well. Why you may ask? Because my name is Quintin and I'm a girl. I got my name from my dad because that's his middle name. Kids would say I had a boy name but I've actually embraced it because I think boy names are cute for girls. For example, Randy, Kris, Connor. My friends and family call me Q, Quinn, and Q-Tip.
