As far as I know I made up the name in Sept. 1998. My husband and I liked the name Trey but we wanted our son to have a name "all his own". So i just added "son". My husband is quite into Basketball and "tre" or 3 has alot of significance. He is also our third child (the first 2 being girls). If anyone knows of someone born before Sept 3, 1998 with the name Treyson please send it in. I would love to know!

I've wondered this same thing all my life. I was born February 25, 1983, and have never found an older Treyson. Honestly, I don't really like how popular the name is becoming. It's been awesome having a unique name, but it's becoming less and less so.
