- Personal experiences with the name Amelie
I know an extremely gorgeous little girl named Amelie. She's really sweet :)
**I love my name- I get alot of compliments-even though alot of people can't pronounce it! Amélie.
Often mispronounced - it is correctly said like Ah-Meh-LeeHi! my daughter's name is Amélie, I chose the name from the principal character of the french movie "Amélie". I embrace that role because is a beautiful caring girl who acts like a heroine for the others no matter her life is a mess, she doesn't loose her childish charm. It was like, when i was pregnant I've been expecting that personality of my baby girl. And yes, she has a strong attitude but really tender at the same time, she's very playful and take care of their little friends.
My name is Amélie and both my parents are french. People usually spell my name wrong and it is annoying when people don't put my accent on my name!My friends name is Amelie she is very beautiful, sweet, and smart. I love the name.
