Such a beautiful name- surprised it's not more popular.
- Personal experiences with the name Aria
My friend is called Aria Kae and she has a twin brother called Axel Kye. Aria&Axel, they also have a 5 year old sister called Aurora Kate.
My friend is named Aria and she has an older by 1 1/2 year brother named Orion. Aria & Orion teehee so similar to the text above
My 13-year-old's name is Aria. People seem to think she has a beautiful name, but people remembering it has proved IMPOSSIBLE. Teachers invariably call her Ariel, Arianna, Arena?, Arabella, Irena, Arella, i can't even remember all the different things she's been called. Or people mispronounce it as Air-ee-ah, like...an area of land. I think once the name becomes more popular, as it's proving to do, people will have an easier time remembering it. When my Aria was born, i had never heard of any other Arias. Now she's starting middle school, and there are quite a few Arias around who aren't school-age yet.
My baby niece is named Aria; her older sister's called Charlotte.
I named my baby girl Ahriya. I pronounce it differently as well...it's pronounced Ah-rye-ah.
My name is Aria, and I constantly get called air-ee-a which is quite annoying. I do like my name, but I don't like how my name is constantly mispronounce.
I hate my name. People always pronounce it like, "Area", "Ah-ri-ah" or "Ah-rye-ah". I could never have any cool nicknames. When people tried to give me one, they could only come up with "Ar-Ar", which just sounds like a crying seal, "Ri-Ri" or "Ria", which is ridiculous because the name is already short. Also, it means "air" in Italian and people would make fun of me throughout school by calling me an "airhead". It would've been easier for others and myself if I was just named Arianna...
