Kristian and Kristina are anagrams of each other; they contain the same letters.
My friend named his daughter Kristina Catherine, thinking she'd have lots of choices for nicknames: Kristine, Kristi, Kris, Tina, Cathy, Catie, Cat, etc. Because there are SO many Kristinas around, she goes by "K.C." Two beautiful names, and she chose her initials. I thought her name was "Casey" for about the first year I knew her!
My name is Kristina Kaye and I go by Krisi. I was born a Flynn but was adopted and had a French last name. But NO ONE ever spells ANY of my names right. I have to spell every name every single time. My biggest pet peeve is being called Kristi. That is not my name. Has never been my name. And I know that less than 200 ppl in the US spell their name as I do. So ppl just can't understand. So for every person here that has that issue I feel for you. And I never find my name on anything unless I have it made. Sometimes I find Kristina, but only people that don't know me call me that.
We shold start a support group. Hi, my name is Kristina with a K, but I go by Krisi. K-R-I-S-I. And I have had this problem for 46 almost 47 years and I need help. Haha
