- Personal experiences with the name Rosa
My Great Great Grandmother's name was Rosa she was Romanian. Her Husband's name was Ingot he died in a Nazi Concentration Camp im not sure if she died before that or what happend to her. I am partaly named after her, my middle name is Rose witch is my Mom's favorite flower.
Every Rosa I have known has been warm, kind and caring. While it is a traditionally Hispanic name, I could definitely imagine Rosa crossing over and becoming a more mainstream and younger name in the U.S.
Also an Italian name!
