I MUCH prefer Scarlet with 1 T. A lot of people disagree with me, but I think Scarlett with 2 Ts is weird and tacky, and not classic at all. Scarlet with 1 T is beautiful, thought.
I completely disagree. Scarlet seems incomplete and not a very pretty looking name.
- Personal experiences with the name Scarlet
Scarlett is prettier.
I agree lol Scarlet looks terrible.
My daughter's name is Scarlet and it was never a question for us if we'd use 2 't's or 1. We LOVE it with 1. Scarlet was actually my husband's idea AFTER she was born, it really caught me by surprise and it was really hard for me to get on board because I just knew we'd end up calling her "Scar" and I thought it was such an ugly nickname AND it was the bad guy in Lion King! After 3 days of lobbying and my realization that none of the other names we were thinking fit her at all I went with it. Now, I could not be happier! She is so unbelievably smart, and sweet, with a streak of spunk, sass, and silliness. Such an amazing little girl. I don't know how, because I really didn't have a visual on what the name meant.. but she fits it PERFECTLY! We get comments all the time on her name, and even though we do call her "Scar" it's so endearing and sweet, it's not ugly at all when it's paired with her. Love, love, love this name!
